1.0 Introduction

1.1 Today is Palm Sunday

1.11 marking the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem

1.12 which was prophesied in Zechariah 9:9

1.2 In Luke 19:9-23, Jesus gives us a parable just before his entry into Jerusalem in preparation for his entry and the 2nd Passover of death

1.21 the1st Passover of death was experienced by Moses & involved Jews imprisoned in Egypt.

1.211 Death took the 1st born children of the Egyptians,
1.212 but spared those of the Jews who, per God's instruction, had marked their doors with the blood of the lamb (the 1st sacrificial lamb)
1.213 Is your door (to your body) marked with the lamb's blood?

1.22 The 2nd Passover of death was experienced by Jesus (the 2nd sacrificial lamb) whose spirit body survived death and ascended to God.

1.23 The Luke 19:9-22 parable tells us about -

1.231 a nobleman who left his kingdom to becomes a king,
placing his 10 servants in charge.
1.232 During his absence, the king is rejected by the citizens of the cities of his kingdom;
1.233 & when he returns, the king rewards his servants
accordingly.
1.234 Immediately at the end of the parable, Jesus enters
Jerusalem.

1.3 We can interpret this parable from many levels: historically, literally, religiously, spiritually, philosophically, & psychologically.

1.31 Today's interpretation will be psychological, philosophical and spiritual.

1.32 The parable is rich in symbology and meaning:

1.34 Both the parable and Christ's entry into Jerusalem symbolizes the entry of Christ Consciousness (which we each have) into our minds and bodies so that our spirit body may rise to the Cosmic Christ and when we finally shed our bodies, we may ascend to God for eternity.

2.0 Explanation

2.1 In our parable, the nobleman is the GOD/CHRIST/HIGHER SELF (SOUL) who leaves his kingdom SPIRITUAL & PHYSICAL BODY) to become a King (CHRIST/GOD REALIZED), placing his 10 servants (WILL, INTELLECT, EMOTIONS, MEMORY, EGO, MIND, SENSES (touch, smell, sight, hearing, taste)) in charge of the kingdom (SPIRITUAL & PHYSICAL BODY).

2.2 When we are born, taking on a PHYSICAL BODY in the
physical plane (1st birth), sheathes/veils (layers of gross
energy/matter) gross physical, vital force, mind, intellect, bliss) separate us from the UNIVERSAL/COSMIC INTELLIGENCE/GOD/CHRIST and our HIGHER/GOD/CHRIST SELF. Our PHYSICAL BODY is separated from our HIGHER SELF/SOUL, such that we frequently don't realize it is there, having the impression that it is missing or absent and just the PHYSICAL LOWER BODY exists (Totally unaware of our SOUL & this Universal Intelligence that enlivens our body.

2.3 How do we know this Intelligence/God exists? Because it is that energy or life force which gives life to the body. Take it away and the body ceases irregardless of any artificial resuscitators or external food. If you feed a dead body, does it come alive (thinking and functioning freely)?

2.4 In our parable, the seemingly separated/absent nobleman (HIGHER SELF/SOUL) was rejected by the citizens of his kingdom (PHYSICAL BODY). They rebel and some of the servants even betray him.

2.5 How does this happen? The elements that comprise our lower selves (EGO, INTELLECT, WILL, MIND, etc.) can become attached to the pleasures/pain experienced through the senses and as a result become controlled by the external, material world.

2.6 When the nobleman SOUL) returns as a King (his CHRIST/GOD CONSCIOUSNESS enters the Physical body permanently) (2nddeath/birth), and he judges and rewards his servants (iaw LAW OF KARMA). The servants reap what they sow."

3.0 How does all this relate to Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem?

3.1 Both the parable and the story of Christ's entry into Jerusalem up to the final ascension have the same symbolic meaning, just a different setting and characters.

3.2 In verse 15, Jerusalem symbolizes the physical place of
residency for the 10 servants of Israel (LOWER AND UPPER
BODY).

3.3 When JESUS re-enters Jerusalem, he enters with/in a state of CHRIST/GOD CONSCIOUSNESS

3.4 To reclaim as King the Kingdom, Jesus goes through an
extensive process (which I call the MESSIAH/SAVIOR
PROCESS). He -

3.41 teaches & heals (in love and service to God and others,
including enemies)

3.42 the last Passover/supper (which augers the coming of death to him)

3.43 there is a betrayal by a disciple (citizen of his spiritual body
which know includes the 12 disciples after the last supper)

3.44 surrender to God's will which calls for his crucifixion

3.45 the crucifixion  (payment of karmic debts for the human race)

3.46 the rising of the Spiritual Body or SOUL (wherein both the Physical and Spiritual Body become imbued with the
UNIVERSAL/COSMIC INTELLIGENCE/CHRIST/GOD

3.47 the resurrection/quickening (healing) of the physical body is a side benefit

3.48 concluding with the ascension, (physical body is relinquished (2nd death) and the SPIRITUAL BODY/SOUL (true self) ascends to the UNIVERSAL/COSMIC CHRIST/GOD, becoming ONE WITH GOD FOR ETERNITY, free from the cycles of life and death and rebirth).

3.5 Note - There are several different types of death occurring:

3.51 the 1st death is death of the ego/lower self through Christ Consciousness.

3.52 the 2nd death is death of the physical body, where we may either-

3.521 reincarnate into the cycles of life and death or

3.522 ascend/merge eternally with God if we are GOD/CHRIST Realized (same vibration/purity as God).

4.0 Conclusion: Each of us must go through a similar salvation process to become Christ/God Realized. We are each our own Messiahs. No one else can do it for us. Christ paid off the karmic debt of the race that existed up to that point in time, because we had sunk too low into matter to ever get out, to realize our CHRIST SELF. He gave us a fighting chance for us to gain our salvation, to redeem ourselves. But the generations that followed have created new karmic debt and we now need a concerted effort. We must all work together and support each other in our process of God/Christ Realization and Freedom.

5.0 Ceremony: Let us each make a commitment to awaken to the Christ/God Consciousness within, to support each other, and to invite the union of our Body with the Universal/Cosmic God/Christ as Jesus did almost 2,000 years ago, this day, by enacting the triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We will each give recognition to the God, the divinity within each of us, by placing our palm leaves on the path of the person entering our ceremonial Jerusalem much as the crowds did to Jesus Christ as he road the ass into Jerusalem.

5.1 First let us read: John 12:12-18

5.2Instructions: Position ourselves equally on each side of the runner, taking turns walking down the runner. As each person passes, we donn our palm leaves. When we get to the end of the runner, the pastor marks the 3rd with holy powder.

6.0 This Messiah Process is the same process we all go thru in life and onto death, over and over until we get it right like Jesus
