About the Programs

1.  One Spirit Ministries (AKA God's Church) offers two study programs by correspondence:

 ·        Metaphysics program (Spiritual Mastery Level I and Practical Spirituality 100) ($399 Donation)

·         Ministerial program (Spiritual Mastery Level II & III and Practical Spirituality 200-300) ($399 Donation)

The metaphysics program is a pre-requisite to the ministerial program.  Both programs include a certificate of completion and satisfy many of the course requirements for Emerson Theological Institutes.

2.  We are also an Emerson Theological Institute Affiliated Campus for the following programs:

·        Bachelor of Religious Studies

·        Master of Religious Studies

·        Doctor of Religious Studies

·        Doctor of Divinity

·        Practitioner of Religious Science (New Thought) Credentials

·        Minister of Religious Science (New Thought) Credentials

For more information on Emerson Theological Institute, visit their web site at  http://www.emerson.com or e-mail One Spirt Ministries (AKA God's Church for an application.

3.  We are also a field training center for the Unity Seminary under the auspices of the Federation of Practical Christianity.  For more information on their program, see the course information.

4.  Many of these classes satisfy Emerson Theology Institute's Ministerial Requirements.

Both One Spirit Ministries (AKA God’s Church) and Emerson’s ministerial programs are Universal, Innerfaith, New Thought, Metaphysical, non-denominational, using non-exclusionary language. One Spirit Ministries (AKA God’s Church) ministerial program culminates in a certificate of completion followed by Ordination to One Spirit Ministries (AKA God's Church). for those who choose to be ordained.

To earn Minister of Religious Science Credentials from Emerson Theological Institute and Religious Science Seminary, the candidate must also complete qualifying final examinations (oral/written) to be administered by One Spirit Ministries (AKA God’s Church).

The ministerial study program fosters spiritual learning and Self-Realization through Universal/God/Christ Consciousness/Realization and a life centered in that consciousness.  God/Christ Consciousness is a state of being, not a state of becoming.  We "walk what we talk" in every aspect of our life.  This means perceiving both your inner and the external worlds metaphysically and spiritually.  It means finding your own answers to the great metaphysical questions:  To know why you are here, where you came from, what your purpose is, and what will happen to you in the end.  This means understanding and demonstrating the interconnectedness between all life forms and ourselves. This means acceptance of the Law of One.  This means that  -

·        Our thoughts, speech or actions neither hurt, harm nor injure anyone or anything;

·        Our actions are performed skillfully and out of selfless love; and

·        The fruits of our good actions are surrendered to God along with our Egos.

This means realizing God while still alive, here on planet Earth, and sharing that God/Christ Consciousness with others through unconditional love and selfless service to God and them.  It means seeing the similarities, not the differences between people.  It means friendship and love towards those who are happy; compassion towards those who are suffering; happiness at seeing others being virtuous and spiritual; and indifference towards weakness, stupidity, and evil in others while helping out of compassion and love.
