Metaphysics - Spiritual Knowledge - Gnosis

Please make one of the following choices:

Welcome to this mysterious, esoteric world of metaphysics that will open up new doors and life paths, letting Divine Light shine brightly into your life.  I applaud your courage and commitment to spiritual growth. We are embarking, through our study and life experiences on an accelerated process towards enlightenment and self-realization towards our union with the Great Spirit. It takes courage to ask the basic questions regarding our existence. Most people don't ask these questions until it is too late, when they are on their death beds. But not you!

MetaphysicsWhat is metaphysics? It's a philosophy or study or science of the ultimate nature of all existence, reality, and experience, both within and external to us. In metaphysics we ask the supreme questions:

  • Who am I?
  • What am I?
  • Why am I here?
  • What is my purpose or destiny?
  • What happens to me when I die?

Metaphysics is thus the study of who and what we are, why we are here, what happens to us when we die. These questions can only be answered by our inner guru, the inner master, our higher selves. Answers are found through meditation, direct experience, service, devotion, prayer, and life's lessons. Each of us must answer these questions for ourselves. Our sojourn on earth school facilitates this process.

We are Divine energy fixed in time and space based on the principle of causation or the Law of Karma. Karma means "action" to include our thoughts, emotions, and physical actions. The Law of Karma says for every action their is an effect which in turn becomes the causal factor for yet another effect. These effects (Samskaras) can bind us to repeat the cycles of birth and death, until we can free ourselves from the effects we have created while alive.  However, we individual expressions of our Divine Source (Mother-Father God).  As such, we are already eternal and immortal beings of Light and Love.  We simply need to awaken to this Truth by raising our consciousness.

Thus, our purpose in life is to raise our consciousness, to  free ourselves from the Law of Karma, or the cycles of birth and death, to express the God in us here and now.  Our purpose is the be God realized, to bring Heaven on Earth.

When we die, our gross energy withdraws from our physical being. Our more subtle energies (i.e. thoughts, emotions and memories) which comprise our true nature are bundled together. This subtle energy unit may permanently or temporarily reside on a higher plain depending upon it's attachments and any negative Karma remaining to be worked off. Thus, we become our own judge, reviewing our past life's events, the effects of our actions, our purpose, etc. as part of the process of determining our next path. If that path entails rebirth, we may choose our new life's circumstances and the type of parents we need to be born to that would best afford us an opportunity for spiritual growth and for working off any negative Karma (Samskaras) we created in our many past lives.

These are own my own personal perceptions, based on spiritual knowledge and direct experiences. As a Sadhak, spiritual student, I've studied many paths (Hinduism, Buddhism, Nature Spirituality (Native American, Wicca), Coptic Christianity, etc.). I've also had two near death experiences in this life. My personal answers are the culmination of how all these factors sit with me, with my inner master or higher self. Each of us must decide for ourselves. One last word: "We create our realities with our thoughts". Never forget this. Any when, in death or bardos, the Great Spirit comes to you, say "I AM WILLING".

To assist other Sadhaks, we have developed a self-paced study program. The first year involves general exploration of many paths; the second year culminates in ordination as a minister of the Church of the Great Spirit aka God's Church. However, whether your complete this program or not, in essence you are already a minister onto yourselves and others. You are your own link between yourself and the divine. We merely invite you to nurture and expand that link through our study program

In this program, we pursue answers to these great metaphysical questions.  We explore and experience different modalities and different paths. There are many paths that lead to the Great Spirit. Different beings need different paths depending on the soul's development and life plan, for each of us is unique. We want to respect and applaud our differences while focusing on our similarities. We do not want to judge or pit ourselves against each other. Spiritual growth is not a competition. When we judge others, we are judging ourselves. We are all part of the same whole. "I am thine, thou art mine, together we are one". The goal for each of us is not what the other is doing, but to focus on ourselves and resolve our own inner schism, fear, compromise, or that which separates from Spirit. "God" or "Goddess" is a name or label placed on a human concept. Consequently, there are many names for God: Yahweh, Father, Universal Intelligence or Awareness, Great Void, Nothingness, Goodness, Love, etc. There is no right name. Further, God or Spirit is neither male or female, but encompasses both, and is beyond or transcends both. For the prophet Moses on the Mount, God says " I am that I am". This means Spirit is a state of being, not becoming. We are already all this state of being, we simply need to awaken to the truth or reality of it. Shall be begin? Let us familiarize ourselves with some terminology and comparisons to assist us along our journey:

  • There are many names for God: Allah Yahweh, Christ, the Trimurti (Brahman, Vishnu, Shiva), Buddha, Tao, etc.
  • There are many great names for Goddess: Isis, Astarte, Inanna, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Mother Earth, etc.
  • There are many great, spiritual prophets: Muhammad, Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Christna, Zoroaster, Confuscius, Zorester, Lao Tzu, etc.
  • There are different names for meditation: Zen (Japanese), Ch'an (Chinese), Dhyanna (Hindu), Be Still (Christian), etc.
  • There are many world religions: Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Jainism, Sikhism, Bahai, Ainu, Shamanism (Native American, South American, Asian, African), etc.
  • The supreme goal for these religions are represented by the following euphemisms: Paradise, the Promised Land, Heaven, Muksha, Nirvana, Chen-jen, etc.
  • Prayers are sealed with a basic seed sound: Amin, Amen, OM, AUM, HUM, etc.
  • Each religion has sacred symbols: Moon and Star, Cross, Sanskrit Aum, Yin and Yang, Star of Solomon, Medicine Wheel, etc.
  • Each religion has a sacred book or scripture or story: Koran, Torah, Talmud, Bible (OT and NT), Vedas, Pali Canon, Tau Tsang, etc.
  • Each has a special prayer or mantrum: Amidha, Lord's Prayer, etc.

Note the similarities. We need to focus on this similarities while appreciating the differences.  To return to the beginning of the home page, click UP.
